1965 Chevrolet Impala SS

Chevrolet debuted the Impala as their top-line model in 1958 and it became an established moniker for Chevrolet for decades. This Impala Super Sport (code 66) is a great example of one of Chevrolet's best looking full-size models. A full restoration has been performed and this Impala SS is striking.

Work consisted in replacing the engine and also the transmission of the Impala.Horsepower is furnished by a 327ci small-block that is equipped with a 4-barrel carburetor and sounds strong through dual exhaust. A PowerGlide 2-speed automatic delivers torque to a factory differential.

A professional 2-stage Danube Blue respray is in excellent condition, as is all chrome and stainless. Steel wheels w/full spinner SS hubcaps mount virtually new Michelin 'Rainforce' whitewall radials. The beautiful fully restored interior was reupholstered in light blue vinyl. Factory bucket seats are complimented by a full console w/floor shift. Dash, carpeting, headliner, door cards, tinted windows – all top shelf.The clean chassis is equipped with power steering, power 4-wheel drum brakes, coil spring suspension, front sway bar and a new fuel tank.
